Bend The Knee ended a wonderful week for the stable, winning the Amanda Elliott Listed 1400m on Stakes Day under a powerpacked McEvoy ride. The stable ended the Flemington Carnival with 3 winners from 4 runners, with Minhaaj, Quantico and Bend The Knee doing the business. In Sydney, Rocha Clock was a honest 2nd in the G2 Hot Danish and Blesk just missing out too in the last with another excellent performance in 2nd.

Lightly raced Bend The Knee has only 3 starts to his name and continued his upward spiral with a dominant victory in the Amanda Elliott Listed 1400m. Ridden a peach from Kerrin McEvoy, he battled off Port Louis late and was strong late. He has plenty of upside and will be given a short let up in preparation for the Magic Magic Millions Guineas. Congratulations to Mr C E Holt, Mr G Kairouz, Finemore Thoroughbreds, Arrowfield Pastoral Pty Ltd, Mr K Yoshida
