After a promising trial a couple of weeks ago, Blesk duly confirmed the promise and won convincingly first up at Goulburn under Robbie Dolan.

Robbie is gathering a good understanding of Blesk having won on him on debut at Goulburn and having partnered him in plenty of recent gallops. Robbie got Blesk into a lovely rhythm towards the rear as they ran on along at a decent pace in the early stages. Approaching the home turn there was plenty of horses coming back in his face, Robbie correctly angled him to the outside and he produced a great turn of foot to win by 2 lengths.

Blesk has always been a horse we have had time for and we are pleased for his owners who will hopefully start reaping the rewards having been patient along the way.

Blesk will head towards Kembla on the 6/08 in the BM68 1400m where Robbie Dolan will continue his association with the colt.

Well done to his owners Finemore Thoroughbreds, Whitby Bloodstock Pty Ltd, Rifa Mustang, Bangaloe Stud, Mr R A Aboud, Sedgewyn, Mr M J Chittick, Mr G J Chittick, Mr B B McCullum
