5YO Charge Forward gelding Dawn Raid (ex Silently) notched up his fifth win at start number 18 getting ever so close to the $100k prizemoney mark for his connections at Hawkesbury on Sunday. The consistent galloper was third-up for the preparation after a last start 4th placing at Wyong. Stepping upto the 1500m on Sunday in BM64 grade was the key to Dawn Raid's success on Sunday along with apprentice jockey Mikayla Weir's 3kg claim. This was Mikayla's first ride for the stable and she gave Dawn Raid a 10/10 steer sitting outside the leader and he did well to win the race by 0.5L, defeating Ready Set Sing and Elkano who were carrying at least 3 kilos less than him.

Dawn Raid is owned and raced by J E Abrahams Pty Ltd (Breeder), Finemore Thoroughbreds, Dr C E Foote, Mr D E Tout, Mr M P Hay, Mrs I O'shea, Mrs F J O'shea

Dawn Raid is out of stakes winning mare Silently who is a half-sister to Group 1 winners Criterion and Comin' Through.
