It was an easy watch on Saturday as Don Arcangelo came home as easy winner at Newcastle in the Class 1 & Maiden Plate 2320m.

Ridden confidently by Christian Reith, he got into a lovely rhythm throughout and put his rivals away in impressive style. He clearly stays very well and looks to have plenty to offer over the coming years. He is still a horse who should keep furnishing and maturing with age. He is likely to head to Flemington this weekend for the GH Mumm Final over 2500m. Well done to owner-breeders - Finemore Thoroughbreds, Planette Thoroughbred Trading Pty Ltd
