After a promising first preparation, Jal Lei resumed with an impressive victory at Kembla on Sunday over the 1200m trip.

Drawn very wide, Regan Bayliss took the filly back to second last with a wall of horses ahead of him. She came out wide into the bend with a big task ahead of her and let down quickly to give an impressive display. She is a filly with a lot to learn still and one we will take our time with. There looks to be some good ability about her and hopefully she will find herself in a nice race at some point. Well done to her owner- W Duck Pty Ltd
