Some of Just Society's best races have been at Newcastle and he franked that yesterday scoring in the BM64 1600m under Tommy Berry.

Following a superb and arguably unlucky run in the Spring Stakes at Newcastle last preparation, we had Just Society set for the Winter campaign with some targets in Queensland. Unfortunanely through bad barriers and wet tracks, he had been yet to fulfil his potential. Dropping back in trip to the mile yesterday he was ridden positively from the gates. Just Society controlled proceedings and under a clever ride from Tommy Berry he saw it well running home for the last 3furlongs in 33.37seconds.

We believe he still has potential to go back up in trip in time but it was encouraging to get his head back in front. He has pulled up well and is a possible to run at Warwick Farm next week in the BM70 1600m.

Congratulations to his owners Finemore Thoroughbreds, China Horse Club Racing Pty Ltd, Mr R A Aboud
