Pretty In Pink added a Group 2 win to her impressive race record on Saturday when taking out the Moreton Cup at Doomben defeating the older horses. The 3YO daughter of Sebring was a dual acceptor for the QLD meeting and the decision to run her in the Moreton Cup was determined when she drew poorly in the Helen Coughlan Stakes.

Pretty In Pink settled one out, one back in the field of 8 for jockey Robbie Fradd and gave an almighty kick to fight off the fast finishing Brave Song in a photo finish.

Saturday's win has earned Pretty In Pink a ticket for the next weeks Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap where she'll be ridden by Robbie Dolan, carrying just 49.5kg- an easy task for the young apprentice who walks around at 47kgs.

"That was a brilliant win today and all things considered, I can't see why she couldn't come back next week and do it again," Segenhoe representative Bill Mitchell said after Saturday's win.

"She's still a bit fresh and was getting tired late, I actually thought she got beat, but she'll take a lot from this hit out."

Winner of the Listed Woodlands Stakes at Scone 12 months ago, Pretty In Pink placed in the Group II Furious Stakes and Group II Tea Rose Stakes last spring.
