Two New Zealand bred gallopers are set for promising futures after impressive displays on the Kensington track.

Waihaha Falls (Sacred Falls) came over from NZ following an impressive jump out. He has been a delight since joining us and we have only given him the one trial. He is still a very raw and inexperienced horse, however from early on he has shown us to be a 3yo of plenty of upside. Drawn awkwardly in barrier 1, rider Tom Marquand managed to get him well positioned and he landed himself in front 300m from home, still idling and learning, however won with plenty of authority. He still has plenty of developing to do over the coming months and we will endeavour to get some miles into his legs, before potentially some bigger targets in the Spring.

Well done to - Mr M J Chittick, Mr G J Chittick, Mr G Lowry

Lost And Running quickly followed suit, winning by a space and continuing his upward spiral. In the driving rain, he was a little tardy out the barriers, however mustered quickly running some sharp early sectionals as he coasted to the lead. As James McDonald balanced him up, he let rip and won like a very good horse. He will again take a rise in the weights as his Benchmark rating rises to 84 now. We will likely send him round again in 2 weeks at Warwick Farm on the 7th. If he continues his current progression, he will end up in some very good races.

Well done owners- Mr C E Holt, Mr L Petagna, Mr F W Cook, Mrs C M Cook, Mrs I O'Shea
