Blesk and Le Gai Soleil gave the stable a good double yesterday at Warwick Farm.

Blesk got proceedings underway with a good display under Tom Marquand on board. He has come back in this preparation in great form and after a couple of unlucky seconds, he got the job done well and should go on to better things. The penny is starting to drop for him and we'd like to think he can make his way into a better grade. He will likely step out at Canterbury on the 21/04 in the C&G BM72 1550m. Well done to owners Finemore Thoroughbreds, Whitby Bloodstock Pty Ltd, Rifa Mustang, Bangaloe Stud, Mr R A Aboud, Sedgewyn, Mr M J Chittick, Mr G J Chittick, Mr B B McCullum

Le Gai Soleil was resuming in the BM78 1400m and continued her excellent first up record, winning well under James McDonald. She is now 5 wins from 8 starts and building up an excellent profile. She looks to have improved again from last preparation and she is coming towards her peak. We will see how she is over the next few days before deciding where she heads, however our aim would be to get her into The Coast at Gosford on the 8th of May. Well done to owners Mr W G Bax, Mrs H Bax, Mr S G Brewis-Weston, Mr B R Green, Mr K B Miller, Mr M Sixton, Mr R Kaveney
