Avdulla Back In The Winners Stall

Avdulla Back In The Winners Stall

Two runners headed to Kembla on Tuesday, with both returning to the winners stall, securing a double for the team. Topping off the day was the return of Brenton Avdulla who had his first winner back after his terrible fall on Champions League.

Champions League was the horse to secure the win for Brenton in race 3 over the 1300m. Champions League returned to this preparation as a gelding and after two solid trials, put in a good display under a super ride. He should continue to pay his way for connections Rosemont Stud

Arthur Francis in the following race saw the stable colours with an impressive winner. Arthur Francis has always promised a lot and off his two excellent trials this preparation, headed to a strong looking Class 1 over 1200m. A bit tardy away, Dylan Gibbons settled him in rear and peeled off their backs to give a good kick. With a weight of 60.5kg, this was a solid effort and better races are in store. Well done to owners – Mrs I O’Shea, Mr B J O’shea, Mrs F J O’shea
