Duo Go Back To Back

It was two winners in as many days for the stable with Countyourblessings going two from two to begin her new campaign along with Interjection also starting his Spring campaign with a pair of victories.

The first of two winners came in the form of Countyourblessings at Canterbury on Wednesday. The I Am Invincible mare took out her fourth race from ten starts and also saluted for her third time at the track. It was a cool ride from 3kg claiming apprentice Zac Wadick who broke well from the gates, held a spot behind the leader and slipped through a tight gap to eventually wear down the leader. It’s been a bright start to her new campaign with consecutive metropolitan wins adding to the mares’ profile, moving forward we have a keen eye on adding some blacktype to her resume.

Our second runner in as many days came in the form of Interjection looking to build on his first up maiden victory. The gelding showed good gate speed and found himself fourth one off the fence in transit, on cornering the son of Too Darn Hot travelled unanimously into the race and delivered a one length victory. Whilst the now three-year-old did seem to have more left up his sleeve he was a beneficiary of a Tommy Berry masterclass ride. Beyond this we will again look to step Interjection out in trip over the next fortnight.
