Talented filly Good Banter (Tavistock) added the G3 Adrian Knox Stakes to her resume at just her seventh start, no doubt a very valuable piece of blacktype for the lightly raced three-year-old. The Blandford Lodge graduate made amends for her luckless 6th in the G3 Kembla Grange Classic just three weeks prior. Jockey Jamie Kah rode her to perfection, always having race favourite Autumn Angel in her sights before settling down to fight it out over the final furlong and proving just superior late. This is a very satisfying win for the daughter of Tavistock with a great group of loyal and patient owners, the plan moving forward will be to target the G2 Roses in Brisbane over 2000m on the 25th of May before looking to take her place in the G1 QLD Oaks.
