King of Naples closed out the 22/23 season with his first Saturday metropolitan win at Randwick, given a perfect ride from Nash Rawiller the son of Your Song made no mistake switching off heels to out gun his rivals over the final furlong. The gelding has now put back to back wins together along with a minor placing this preparation and is still to reach his ceiling. The program moving forward is to back up on Saturday in the Bm78 1350m, while he is now up against the older horse we have always felt that Rosehill will be a track that suits him.
The $170,000 Inglis Classic purchase now has four wins from thirteen starts with five minor placings, along with north of $200,000 in total prize money. We are delighted for the ownership group who have been forced to be very patient with a horse that has always shown immense ability.
