No Doubting Ability of Senza Dubbio

Promising staying conveyance Senza Dubbio put himself on a path to the Queensland Derby when breaking his maiden in dominant fashion at Newcastle on Saturday.

The Not A Single Doubt gelding relished the step out in trip second up and was aided by a brilliant Blake Spriggs ride (a late pick up after Christian Reith was dislodged in the first race), getting to the outside fence in the straight and scoring by 4.45L.

A 2000m BM64 at Kembla Grange will be his next assignment, with sights firmly set on the mile and a half Classic at Eagle Farm on May 28.

Congratulations to his owners: Finemore Thoroughbreds & Planette Thoroughbred Trading Pty Ltd

NB: Our thoughts are with Christian Reith who was booked to ride but suffered a fractured T4 vertebra in his fall.
