After a 3 year enforced break, the tour was back on!
The team was excited.
The Karaka Yearling sales were looming large.
The preparation had begun.
The pace of this 4-day excursion was so sharp, it was difficult to keep a head count of the participants… perhaps something between The Magnificent Seven and The Dirty Dozen seems about right!
The sheer magnificence of the Waikato scenery was complemented by the wonderful hospitality of our NZ hosts.
The presentation of all of the yearlings at all of the studs & farms we visited was simply first class.
And, of course, in the evenings, we dined with our Kiwi friends and discussed the potential Oaks & Derby winners we had seen that day. Such special times.
Can’t wait for the sales!
