Inglis easter yearlings

The Inglis Easter Yearling Sale is Australia’s top sale with the best studs in the country presenting their best yearlings. Since 2018, 26 individual Group 1 winners have been produced from the sale.

Pierro x My Sanctuary Filly

Lot 314 Pierro x My Sanctuary Filly

We were very keen to secure a Pierro filly from the Easter Sale and we were even more pleased to secure this lovely staying filly for just $180,000. She comes from an outstanding European family, filled with quality performers bred and raced by Kirstin Rausing.

That pedigree will only continue to develop and post this filly’s racing career with a stack of fillies producing in the second dam. Following her racing career, we expect her to have good residual value as a broodmare. We see this filly as one that will stay very well and will hopefully be one for the 3yo Classic type races.

The last filly we purchased off the Coolmore draft was another Pierro filly, Rocha Clock who of course has gone on to be a stakes winner and has amassed well over $1million in prize money thus far. She was purchased for $200,000.

Only 5% remains in this filly

NZ Karaka Yearlings

The New Zealand Karaka Sale has been one of the most successful breeding grounds for Australian Racehorses over the past seasons. Last year was no different with 24% of Australian Group 1’s being won by NZ Bred horses from just 7% of the runners.

Tivaci x Rosehip Colt

Tivaci x Rosehip Colt

Lot 544 Tivaci x Rosehips Colt

Bred on the same cross, and off the same Waikato grounds as Flight Stakes winner Never Been Kissed. Tivaci has had an excellent start to his career at stud, with his oldest crop just 3yos. As well as Never Been Kissed, the very promising Wolverine is bred on a similar cross and from just 4 starts has won two G2’s and an excellent second in the 2yo Karaka Millions.

John is very familiar with this family having bought and trained stakes winner Legsman and been underbidder on G1 winner Brambles who is very closely related to this colt. John believes this colt is of a very similar mould to Brambles.

He has a real presence about him and should make up into a Classic 3yo who gets up to 1600m-2000m, becoming ideally suited for all these new feature races in Sydney for horses at all ages.

For anyone interested in taking a managing position, we have colours available.

Inglis Classic Sale

American Pharoah x Sensible Lady

LOT 231 American Pharoah x Sensibe Lady Colt

Purchased off the great farm Gooree Stud, this American Pharoah colt was a beautiful specimen and a colt John said he would buy from the moment he saw him. A tough, sound looking type, we imagine this colt to grow into himself over the coming months and be a lovely specimen and a real racehorse over the coming years. The Dam a successful racemare herself, winning stakes races at the minimum trip in the USA and racking up just short of $500,000 in prize money. She has has two progeny to run so far, with both winning in Sydney.

You can see his parade and profile here.

Ladies Syndicate - Magic Millions

Deep Field x Diddums

Deep Field x Diddums Filly

We have an outstanding filly by Deep Field who will head up the Ladies Syndicate team this year. We have high aspirations for her as fast, precocious filly who we will aim to get to the Magic Millions 2yo Classic and compete for the Ladies Bonus. This filly is by the outstanding Sire Deep Field who has quickly risen in the Sydney Stallion Ranks. Her Dam, Diddums was a very fast filly trained by Clarry Conners and was impressive when winning the G3 PJ Bell over 1200m as a 3yo. She comes off the superb farm of Torryburn who in recent years have been the breeders of Home Affairs & Espiona. Members of the Torryburn team were so happy with this filly, they have retained some of the ownership.

This filly is nearly through her Breaking In process and were excited to see what she has to offer over the coming months.
