Ravello Runs Riot

A debut to remember for Ravello, at Warwick Farm on Wednesday. Aided by a low draw, Brenton Avdulla made no mistakes camping just behind the speed and produced the son of Savabeel at the top of the straight, from there the colt wore down the leader and was to strong through the line. An impressive effort for the debutant against more seasoned opponents, giving a glimpse of his potential, he will no doubt take huge improvement from the experience.

The imposing New Zealand bred two-year-old will now have a freshen up before being aimed toward the Brisbane Carnival, which could include the Gr2 BRC Sires Produce on the way to a possible tilt at the Gr1 JJ Atkins. This $450,000 Karaka purchase looks to be furnishing into a serious racehorse.

Big Congratulations to winning connections:

Mr L Petagna, Mr G Clarke, Mr A S Williams
