Roselyn’s Star Burns The Turf

It was an impressive second up victory for Roselyn’s Star on Wednesday over the 1000m circuit. The colt did manage to break the class record on the Kensington track which only adds merit to his performance. The son of Shalaa put the writing on the wall on debut, running second to Gatsby who is currently a $2.20 favourite for Saturdays G3 Pago Pago, the filly that ran third in the race, Silmarillion came out to run 2nd on Saturday in the G2 Reisling over 1200m. We have always had a nice opinion of the Magic Millions graduate after running 2nd to Straight Charge in the first official two-year-old trials back in September, Bosustow and Embassy both featured in the trial who have since been stakes placed.

The plan moving forward with the $220,000 yearling will be to target the G3 Kindergarten over 1100m here at Randwick, this looks a nice opportunity for the colt to step into blacktype company at his home track. Big congratulations to his all ladies syndicate of owners-
