A successful Queensland raid for Speak Up on Saturday at Eagle Farm made it back-to-back wins for the daughter of Sebring. A big result thanks to the QTIS bonus, made it a total of $85,000 prizemoney, partnered by a patient ride by Angela Jones the lightly raced three-year-old weaved a passage through the field to score victory. The filly seems to have travelled back to Sydney in good order, with the hope to continue through the grades. Congratulations to winning connections:

A quartet of promising stayers put their hand up for the staying features across the carnival. With Stroke of Luck running a gallant second place taking on the older horses on Saturday at Rosehill, with the aim for the son of Fastnet Rock to compete against his own age, this performance will hold him in good stead. The three-year-old will look to target Tulloch Stakes taking the same lead up as stablemate and last year’s ATC Derby runner up, Benaud.
Stepping up to group 2 grade for the first time Awesome John did not look out of place. At an unsuitable trip he savaged the line, running a close sixth behind four-time group winner Zougotcha. With the gelded son of Awesome Rock now also being aimed at the Tulloch Stakes the step up in the distance will be more than beneficial for his prospects going forward.
The Gosford win of Premise made it two consecutive victories for the daughter of Contributer, again guided by Alysha Collet. A New Zealand bred filly who is learning her craft on the go turned in a professional performance and will look to advance to the Adrian Knox Stakes on the 1st of April, with the potential to back up into the ATC Oaks. A big congratulation to winning connections:

Domingo broke through with a tough victory up in class at Canberra on Sunday. The lightly raced three-year-old battled it out down the straight eventually getting the better of his challengers. A first-class steer from Kerrin McEvoy may have proved the difference. The gelding has faced more than his fair share of misfortune will take great confidence out of the win and look to work through his grades. Thanks to the very patient winning connections:
